Bangladesh police chief on Friday said the perpetrators responsible for creating anarchy capitalizing recent student movement over demand for road safety have been identified.
"Many anarchists have been identified. We have taken action against some of them and the rest will be brought to book soon," Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Mohammad Javed Patwary said after inaugurating three police establishments in the district.
Among others, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Khandoker Golam Faruk, Chandpur district council Chairman Osman Gani Patwary, Deputy Commissioner Md Majedur Rahman, police super Shamsunnahar, and Chandpur Press Club president Iqbal Hossain Patwary, were present on the occasion.
