Two drivers have been killed after a passenger bus and a truck smashed into each other on the Dinajpur-Thakurgaon Highway in Dinajpur.
The accident took place near Kaharol upazila on Thursday night, reports UNB.
Police said Dhaka-bound bus Keya Paribahan collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction around 9:30pm.
“The vehicles burst into flames after the collision, killing two drivers on the spot,” Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Ruhul Amin told the Dhaka Tribune.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the flame and recovered the burnt bodies of the two drivers.
Ten passengers were also injured. They have been given first aid.
