Police have recovered the body of an Ansar member from Tongi, Gazipur.
Deceased, Junaid, 25, was assigned to the storehouse of the National Curriculum and Textbook Board.
Upon hearing a gunshot inside the storehouse on Saturday night, Junaid’s colleagues rushed there and found his body lying on the ground of the washroom, Tongi police station’s Officer-in-Charge Md Kamal Hossain said.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master General Hospital for an autopsy.
It is primarily assumed that Junaid might have committed suicide, the OC said.
