Kishoreganj Sadar upazila Parishad has inaugurated a cultural program called “Srijaney Unnayaney Bangladesh,” to inform locals of the government’s many development projects, and to inspire people with the spirit of the Liberation War.
The event was held at the premises of the Kishore Sadar Upazila Parishad on Tuesday. Kishoreganj Deputy Commissioner Md Sarwar Morshed Chowdhury inaugurated the event.
Earlier, a procession rallied from the local circuit house to the event venue.
Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) presided over the event, with former director of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Deen Mohammad, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tarafdar Md Akhtar Jameel, and Additional Police Superintendent Masud Anwar also in attendance, among others.
