He passed away at the age of 78
Language Movement veteran Anwarul Haque died at his residence in the Shalgaria area of the Pabna district town in the early hours of Wednesday, aged 78.
The language hero, who was suffering from old age complications, breathed his last around 1:05am, said family sources.
He left behind his wife, two daughters, a son, a host of admirers and well-wishers to mourn his death.
Anwarul Haque was founding member also former president of the Pabna Press Club.
He worked as correspondent of the daily Ittefaq.
