‘Vandals will soon be captured and brought to justice’
Unidentified vandals desecrated two idols at the Sosan Kali Temple in Rajbari.
The incident occurred in Jamalpur union’s Tulsi Barat area of Baliakandi upazila in the early hours of Tuesday.
Sosan Kali Temple committee Chairman, Nepal Raj, said: “The committee immediately reported the matter to Baliakandi police station on Wednesday.”
Later in the day, Baliakandi police station OC, AKM Ajmal Huda, visited the crime scene.
“The motive for their actions are unclear, but the vandals involved in the incident will soon be captured and brought to justice,” he added.
