Bus hits CNG , primary schoolboy killed

A primary schoolboy was killed when a bus hit a CNG-auto-rickshaw  from behind on the Nabiganj-Sherpur road near Bajakhashra gate.

The incident took place on Saturday after 12pm

The deceased was identified  as Tonmoy,10, son of Shumit Boishnob, of Bausa village in the upazila. The victim was a student of class two at local Shonar Bangla School.

Officer-in-Charge(OC) of Nabiganj Police Station, Ikbal Hossain, said the auto rickshaw fell into a slope near the road after the bus hit it. Tonmoy was severely injured on the spot. He was rushed to the upazila health complex and the doctor on duty declared him dead after investigation.

The bus was seized and the police are trying to catch the absconding driver and helper of the bus, the OC added.
