However, Sylhet may see rain or thundershowers

A mild heat wave has been sweeping over the Rajshahi and Khulna divisions — and the Tangail, Dinajpur, and Sayedpur regions.

This may continue—and spread—said a Met Office press release on Tuesday, reports BSS.

The Met Office forecasted that rain or thundershowers—accompanied by temporary gusts—are likely to occur at one or two places in the Sylhet division.

The weather may remain dry with temporary partly-cloudy sky elsewhere in Bangladesh.

Day and night temperatures may also rise slightly.

The maximum temperature on Monday was recorded as 37.7°C in Ishurdi; while the lowest temperature, on Tuesday, was recorded as 21.3°C in Sylhet.

Tuesday's sunset in Dhaka will be at 6.30pm, and Wednesday’s sunrise will be at 5.20am.
