The victim's mother filed a case on Friday
Police have arrested a madrasa teacher on charges of sexually abusing an eight-year-old male student at Khalishpur in Khulna.
The arrestee, Al Amin, from Kashiani upazila of Gopalganj, is a teacher of Newsprint Mills Madrasa.
He was arrested from Khalishpur in the early hours of Saturday, Shah Alam, sub-inspector (SI) of Khalishpur police station, said.
The SI said Al-Amin was arrested after the victim's mother filed a case with the police station on Friday.
According to the victim's mother, Al-Amin often used to call the victim to the boarding room at the madrasa and abuse him. But the matter came to her notice on July 31, upon which she filed the case on Friday.
