Another person died of dengue while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
The deceased was identified as Abu Syed, 30, son of Md Salam.
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shilabrata Barua of CMCH police outpost told the Dhaka Tribune that the patient was diagnosed with dengue virus on September 4.
“On September 5, he was admitted to CMCH. However, he died around 5:30pm on Friday while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital,” the ASI said.
