A Jubo League leader has been hacked to death in Feni.
The deceased was identified as Rabiul HaqueManik, 40, son of Nurul Haque from Fazilpur union of the Sadar upzaila of the district.
The incident occurred around 11:30pm on Thursday.
Bogdadia Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Omar Haider said: "Some unknown miscreants broke into Rabiul's and attacked him. He died on the way to Feni General Hospital."
Rabiul’s body has been sent to Feni General Hospital morgue for autopsy, he said.
No case has been filed in this regard.
