BGB protested the killings in a flag meeting with BSF
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) killed two Bangladeshi youths in the Sherpur border region.
The incident took place at the Panbari bordering area of Sreebardi Upazila in the early hours of Monday.
The deceased are Ukil Miah, 30, and Khokon Miah, 25.
According to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and local people, the two deceased were illegally bringing cows from India. After sighting them, BSF members chased and shot them.
Both of them managed to get into Bangladesh territory despite being injured, however, they died later.
Police recovered the bodies and sent them to the Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, BGB protested about the killings during a flag meeting between 39 BGB led by its Commander Shahidur Rahman and a BSF team, led by its 26 BSF Commander Bishal Rahne.
