The volunteer organization, formed by the students of Jahangirnagar University, has been supporting the school children with warm clothes every year

Shishu Shwarga Foundation, a volunteer organization yesterday distributed warm clothes to 2,000 students of eight schools located at the border areas of Tetulia upazila in Panchagarh.

The volunteer organization, formed by the students of Jahangirnagar University, has been supporting the school children with warm clothes every year.

Among others, Tetulia Upazila Parishad Chairman Kazi Mahmudur Rahman, and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Rafiqul Alam were present during the distribution.

Meanwhile in Bogra, local administration distributed a total of 66,000 blankets to ease the suffering of the poor this winter.

District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Azhar Ali Mondal said: “We have distributed blankets among poor people in two phases starting from November. A requisition letter for 36,000 blankets for 12 municipalities and 108 unions were sent to the higher authorities on December 15.”
