A Rajshahi court sentenced four members of the banned militant outfit Jama'atulMujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) to death for the murder of a Hindu priest in Panchagarh in 2016.
The convicted are Jahangir Hossain alias Rajib Gandhi, also plotter of the Holey Artisan Cafe attack, Rajibul Islam Molla alias Badal, Alamgir Hossain, and Ramzan Ali.

On February 21, 2016, Jageshwar Roy, 50, a Hindu priest, was hacked to death and Gopal Chandra Roy, 35, a devotee, was shot in an attack by armed assailants in Debiganj upazila.
Two devotees were also injured in the incident when the criminals fired shots and exploded improvised explosive devices while fleeing.
In the verdict, three more accused -- Harej Ali, Khalilur Rahman and Md Rana -- were acquitted.
