A young man, diagnosed as the first case of coronavirus in Narail, has also become the first patient to make full recovery in the district.
Syed Sujon, son of Syed Ashraf Ali of Parchatora village in Lohagara upazila, was declared coronavirus negative by the district health department on Tuesday.
Narail Civil Surgeon Dr Abdul Momen confirmed the matter, reports UNB.
The man had tested positive for the coronavirus on April 9 after his return from Narayanganj on April 7. Later, the upazila administration put four villages under lockdown.
His samples were tested once again on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday when he was found negative for the virus all three times.
Subsequently, the upazila administration lifted the lockdown from those four villages.
