Local Union Parishad Member Sazzadul Haque Ripon, said: “I have made arrangements to support a few people. Only 70 sacks of relief were disproportionately allocated for my ward with a population of 20,000.”

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Kamruzzaman along with army personnel visited the protest site and assured them of relief aid. “All those who are need of relief aid will be listed and soon food supplies will be distributed among them," he said.
