Worshipers wishing to go to mosques will be required to follow health guidelines
Gazipur City Corporation Mayor Jahangir Alam on Tuesday announced that Muslim devotees of wards that have the least number of coronavirus cases will be able to go their local mosques to offer their prayers without any difficulty from Friday.
In a video message, Jahangir Alam said: “Ramadan is the holiest month for Muslims. In this month, devotees want to offer Taraweeh prayers at mosques daily. That’s why mosques were opened for the convenience of worshipers.”
He also said worshipers wishing to go to mosques will be required to follow health guidelines introduced by the government.
