Coronavirus: 51 active cases don’t exhibit symptoms in Habiganj

On April 25, a five-year-old child of a tea worker in Chunarughat died after being infected

Out of the total 52 confirmed cases of novel coronavirus in Habiganj, all 51 active patients are not experiencing any symptoms of the virus after being infected. 

Habiganj Deputy Civil Surgeon Dr Mukhlesur Rahman: “We have recorded four new cases of the coronavirus, taking the total number of cases to 52, as of Wednesday. But, the matter that is worrying the most is that the currently active cases never developed any symptoms.” 

The confirmed patients include an additional district magistrate, two executive magistrates and several members of the health department, including doctors, nurses and staffers of the Sadar hospital, he added.    

On April 25, a five-year-old child of a tea worker in Chunarughat died after being infected with the coronavirus.
