Man accused of raping 7-year-old arrested in Bandarban

A man, accused of raping a seven-year-old, has been arrested from Kalaghata area of Bandarban.

The arrestee, Al Amin, 18, took the seven-year-old out of her house to play and raped her in a nearby playing field around 8pm on Saturday.

Locals found the injured girl and informed her family, who later rescued her and admitted her to Bandarban General Hospital.

Moreover, Local Labour Party leader Jashim tried to cover up the incident by threatenining the family. However, police arrested Al Amin with information from the local commissioner. 

Bandarban Sadar police station Sub Inspector (SI) Gobindo Kumar Shwarma said: ”We have arrested a man named Al Amin over the incident.”

A cases will be soon filed in this regard.
