At least eleven people have died in Dinajpur and Rangpur after drinking toxic liquor.
In Dinajpur, at least eight people were killed after drinking toxic liquor in Birampur upazila.
The deceased are identified as, Abdul Matin, 27, Mohsin Ali, 38, Azizul Islam, 33, and Amrito Roy, 30, Sohel Rana, 32, and Mono, 35
They fell critically ill after taking the toxic substance, police say.
Locals took them to the Birampur Upazila Health Complex where three were declared dead and another died while undergoing treatment in the morning, said health officer Solaiman Hossain of the upazila.
Two among the deceased died undergoing treatment at different hospitals on Wednesday night, the health officer added.
Meanwhile, a couple --Shafikul Islam, and his wife Monjuara--died at the hospital on Wednesday after drinking the toxic liquor the day before.

In Rangpur, at least three people were killed after drinking toxic liquor in Shyampur area of Rangpur town.
The deceased Nurul Islam, 28, Sarwar Hossain, 32, and Mostofa, 32, died undergoing treatment at Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Wednesday, confirmed Rangpur Additional Superintndent of Police Md Maruf Ahmed.
He said an investigation is ongoing to find out if anyone else died overdosing on toxic liquor in the district.
