A physician died with Covid-19 symptoms while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Maa O shishu Hospital on Sunday.
The deceased Dr Sadequr Rahman was working in Jemison Red Crescent Maternity Hospital.
Dr Md Nurul Huq, Deputy Director of Chittagong Maa O Shishu Hospital told the Dhaka Tribune that the physician died at 6:00am while undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
The doctor had pneumatic problems, said Dr Huq.
Previously on Friday, another physician died with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) symptoms while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
