Two suspected robbers have been killed in a mass beating in Narsingdi.
The incident occurred around 3am on Tuesday when the robbers were attempting to flee after committing a robbery at Murgiber village in Joshar union of Shibpur upazila.
Police also arrested a robber, Manik Mia, 25, who was badly injured by the beatings.
One of the two deceased men was identified as Sohel Mia, 30.

Shibpur Model police station Inspector (Investigation) Abul Kalam and locals said a group of 10 to 15 armed robbers robbed a house around 1:30am, looting gold ornaments and cash.
Becoming aware of the looting, villagers congregated and cornered the robbers. When they were attacked in retaliation, they dished out severe beatings, killing two robbers on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue.
The deceased Sohel had several charges, including murder, filed against him, said police.
