Four among eight inmates who fled from Jessore Juvenile Correctional Centre early on Monday have been rescued.

On Monday, 8 inmates escaped from Jessore Juvenile Correctional Centre.
After breaking a window of the residential building in the correctional centre at around 2:15am, the inmates made good their escape, said Zakir Hossain.
The inmates have been identified as Hridoy, 17, Fardin Durjoy, 15, Abdul Kader, 14, Rohan Gazi, 14, Shohag Sheikh, 17, Munna Gazi, 15, Shah Alam, 14, and Mainur Rahman Shakib, 15.
Police declined to disclose further details of the incident.
Police and the Department of Social Service launched the rescue operation soon after the eight fled from the centre, Zakir Hossain added.
With the help of the Department of Social Service, the four inmates were rescued and brought back to the centre.
Jessore Superintendent of Police (SP) Muhammad Ashraf Hossain said drives were going on to catch the fugitives.
Earlier on August 13 this year, three teenagers were tortured to death by several staff of the correctional centre and senior inmates over a trivial matter.
