Locals suspect it died from injuries inflicted on it by fishermen
A dead dolphin was found on the Kuakata beach in Patuakhali on Friday.
Local fishermen reported to the authorities after spotting the 10-feet-long dolphin early in the morning.
Witnesses said the dead mammal had several marks of injuries.

The local unit of Tourist Police and the Fisheries Department disposed of the dead dolphin, said Senior Fisheries Officer Md Zahirunnabi.
The Fisheries Department official, however, could not confirm the cause of death.
“We suspect it died from injuries inflicted by sharp objects,” local resident KM Bachchu said before adding dead dolphins and whales often wash up on the beach.
