Yakub Ali sexually violated 2 girls on November 27, 2017, after tempting them with candies
A Natore court on Wednesday sentenced a man to life term imprisonment for raping two girls in 2017.
Natore Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge Imdadul Haque found Yakub Ali of Sriramgari in Lalpur upazila guilty of rape and jailed him for life.
The court also fined him Tk1 lakh.

According to the prosecution, Yakub took two girls to a bamboo cluster after alluring them of giving chocolates and violated them on November 27, 2017.
Later, the victim’s parents filed a case with Lalpur police station.
Police arrested Yakub from Ishurdi in Pabna district, two days after the incident. Police submitted a charge sheet against Yakub in 2018.
