The body of a student of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has been recovered by police.
The deceased was identified as Shakkhor Saha, son of Swapad Saha, hailing from Faridpur Sadar upazila.
He was a 15th batch student of the university's Department of Civil Engineering
On information, police recovered the body around 12pm on Sunday.
According to sources, Shakkhor Saha used to live in the mess at Octroy Mor adjacent to the university.
Around 11am, his classmates broke open the door and entered his room as he was not responding. Later, his body was recovered.
The body was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital for autopsy, confirmed SI Imran Hossen of Motihar police station.
