Three members of a family died from electrocution on Friday in Kishoreganj Sadar upazila's Karsha Karail union.
They were identified as Harunur Rashid, 40, his son Bablu, 14, and nephew Abu Syed, 10.

Karsha Karail union Chairman Md Badar Uddin said Syed came in contact with a live wire when he was riding his bicycle at noon. As Bablu and Harun tried to save him, they also got electrocuted.
Syed, Bablu and Harun were rushed to Shahid Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital where they were pronounced dead upon arrival.
