On Monday, bodies of two newborn babies were found in Tangail
Police have recovered the dead body of a newborn baby from Tangail’s Delduar upazila.
Locals called the police after noticing the abandoned body wrapped in a polythene bag in front of the sub-registrar’s office on Tuesday night, said Delduar police station SI Monowar Hussain.
The body was recovered on Wednesday and sent to Tangail General Hospital, where a DNA test would be conducted. SI Monowar said that they were looking into the matter seriously.

On Monday, the bodies of two newborn babies were found in CNB Road area of Tangail town in a space of three hours. They were buried after autopsy.
Police were trying to find the individual who had dumped the bodies, said Tangail Sadar police station OC Mir Mosharraf Hossain.
