Two motorcyclists were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Naogaon.
The incident took place at Bijaypur area of Naogaon-Rajshahi highway in Manda upazila in Naogaon at around Friday midnight .
The deceased were identified as Saidur Rahman, 35 and Afzal Hossain, 35. Both hailed from Badalghata village of Manda upazila
According to the Manda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahinur Rahman, the victims were on their way home in village Badalghata from Manda sadar upazila on a motorcycle at around midnight on Friday. A speeding truck from the opposite direction slammed into the bike, killing them on spot, before fleeing the scene.
As there was no complaint from both the families, the police handed over bodies to their respective families.
A case has been filed with the police station in this regard.
