Till date, 295 people have died while undergoing treatment at Khulna Covid dedicated hospital
Seven more people have died of Covid-19 in Khulna Covid dedicated hospital while 81 others tested positive for the deadly virus in the last 24 hours until Tuesday night.
The deceased are – Md Selim Jamadar, 65, from Moralganj, A Malek, 75, and Tushar Kanti, 58, from Fultala, Aijan Begum, 75, from Koira, Kazi Saidur Rahman, 74, from Jessore and A Hai Sikder, 80, and Darbesh Ali, 72, from Bagerhat.
Till date, 295 people have died while undergoing treatment at the Covid dedicated hospital.

Meanwhile, of the 81 new cases, 49 hailed from Khulna metropolis and district, 26 from Bagerhat, two each from Jessore and Pirojpur, and one each from Gopalganj and Jhenaidah districts, according to Khulna Medical College Hospital PCR lab.
“At least 129 patients are currently undergoing treatment at Khulna Covid dedicated hospital,” said Dr Suhas Ranjan Haldar, resident medical officer of Khulna Medical College Hospital and focal person of Covid Unit, on Tuesday morning.
Of them, 63 are admitted in the red zone, 28 in the yellow zone, 20 in the intensive care units (ICUs) and 19 in the high dependency units (HDUs), he added.
