Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have arrested six youths for allegedly running a porn racket in Khetlal upazila in Joypurhat.
The arrestees were identified Mehedi Hasan, 26, Faruk Hossain, 28, Arman Hossain, 28, Sujan Haldar, 24, Eklashur Rahman, 21, and Shahinur Rahman, 27.
RAB-5 Joypurhat camp sources said that a team, led by Lt Commander Toukir, raided Battali Bazar and arrested the six youths on Tuesday night, acting on a tip-off.
Six CPUs, 10 hard disks, eight monitors, 16 cables, and six mouse pieces were also seized during the drive.
After interrogation, the accused were handed over to the Khetlal police station. A case has been filed under the Pornography Control Act, the sources added.
