Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged in Bangladesh
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at many places across the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions in the next 24 hours till 9am Saturday, said a Met Office statement.
Moderately heavy to heavy falls are likely to occur at some places over the country during the time, it said.

The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of Friday 6am was recorded at 42mm at Sandwip in Chittagong division.
The country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 34.5°C at Rajshahi in Rajshahi division and the minimum temperature on Friday is 24.3°C at Hatiya in Chittagong division.
The sun will set at 6:28pm on Friday and will rise at 5:36am on Saturday in Dhaka.
