A local called 999 when he realized what was happening
Police have arrested two men for gang raping a woman, after receiving a 999 call, in Comilla’s Laksham.
The duo are Abdul Kuddus Swapan, 25, and Md Dipu, 30. Two other rapists have yet to be arrested. They all hail from the upazila’s Mudafarganj union.
On Wednesday night, the four men whisked the 22-year-old housewife off to a house and gang raped.

One of the locals called 999 upon realizing what happened. Later police went to the spot and rescued the woman.
She filed a case against four people.
Police took her to Comilla Medical College Hospital for medical examination.
