Train rams into car at an unprotected level crossing
Three people, including a child, were killed and several others injured after a train rammed into a microbus at a level crossing in Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar on Sunday.
According to witnesses, police and railway officials, the incident occurred around 1pm at the Hossainpur crossing -- which had no gate -- under Bhatera union.

The child and two other microbus passengers were killed on the spot.
None of the deceased or injured could be identified immediately.
The injured were rescued and rushed to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.

Binoy Bhushan Roy, the OC of Kulaura police station, and Muhibur Rahman, the station master of Kulaura Railway Station, both confirmed the incident and subsequent developments.
The officials and witnesses said the microbus was going through the crossing when the incoming Sylhet-bound intercity train Parabat Express crashed into it.
