Teenager found dead in Barisal after being denied motorcycle

The body of a 16-year-old boy was found hanging at his house in Brown compound of Barisal town on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Md Raiyan, son of Md Shahzada of the area. He was an SSC examinee of Barisal Zilla School.

The deceased’s father claimed Raiyan was a drug addict and he had been demanding a motorcycle for several days. On Friday afternoon, he was found hanging by the neck.

Police recovered the body after being informed of the incident. 

Sub-inspector Sultan Mahmud of Kotwali model police station said the body had been sent to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
