Md Shahjahan, a photojournalist for the Turkish-based international news agency Anadolu Agency, has won the first prize in a photography competition arranged by the Bangladesh Tourism Board (BTB).
State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali handed over the prizes to the winners at a function in Dhaka on Monday.
The aim of the competition was to collect pictures of interesting tourist spots in Bangladesh so that they could be used to promote tourism, says the BTB.
Shahjahan has so far won 125 international awards by participating in photo competitions in different parts of the world.
