They were apprehended while selling yaba pills
Police have arrested two people in Gazipur with 4,000 yaba pills in possession.
The arrestees were identified as Nur Mohammad, 39, hailing from Teknaf, and Hridoy, 22, from Tongi.
They were apprehended during a raid by Bason police in the Mogorkhal area of Gazipur at around 12:30pm on Wednesday.

A national identity (NID) card and three mobile phones along with Tk28,000 in cash were seized from their possessions during the raid.
Gazipur Metropolitan Police (GMP) Deputy Commissioner (Crime) Zakir Hasan said: “Acting on a tip-off, a team of Bason police station raided the adjacent area of Columbia garments factory and arrested the yaba traders while they were selling the pills.”
Legal actions would be taken against them, he said.
