Awami League leader Nuruzzaman was elected MP from Pabna 4 constituency

Md Nuruzzaman Biswas took oath as a member of the 11th parliament on Wednesday.

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath at the parliament building.

Awami League leader Md Nuruzzaman Biswas was elected MP from Pabna 4 constituency in the by-polls held on September 26. The parliament seat became vacant following the death of ruling party MP Shamsur Rahman Sherif on April 2.

Senior secretary of the parliament Dr Zafar Ahmed Khan conducted the oath taking ceremony. Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah, Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury, whips Iqbalur Rahim, Mahabub Ara Begum Gini, and Nadira Yeasmin Jolly were present at the ceremony.
