Health Minister Mohammed Nasim has said BNP will be wiped out of the scene if they stay away from the next parliamentary election.
“Participate in next national polls and come to the field. BNP will vanish as a party if you stay out of the elections,” he said on Saturday, apparently addressing BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
The minister was addressing a rally marking Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's Homecoming Day, organised by Tongibari upazila unit Awami League at Rongmeher School grounds in the afternoon.
Nasim also mentioned that if any one createed obstacles to holding the elections at the end of this year, it would be meted out with tough response.
“The next general election will be held under Sheikh Hasina for sure,” said the senior Awami League leader.
