
BNP has announced they will hold more nationwide protests against the imprisonment of their party chief Khaleda Zia.
The party will organize human chain across the country including Dhaka on Monday and a sit-in program on Thursday, announced BNP's Senior Secretary General RuhulKabir Rizvi on Saturday.
The party's leaders and activists from all city, district and upazila units will also observe hunger strike from 9am to 5pm on Wednesday demanding the release of Khaleda Zia.

Last Thursday, a special court sentenced the BNP chairperson to five years' imprisonment in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case and sent her to prison after the verdict.
Rizvi said so far around 4,200 party leaders and activists have been arrested over protests against the verdict. He demanded unconditional release of the detained activists.
The BNP leader also wished a quick recovery of more than 50 leaders and activists injured in attacks by police.
