'JaPa will remain strong due to the people’s affection, while many political parties will gradually be eliminated'
Jatiya Party (JaPa) Co-Chairman GM Quader on Monday said the party will earn the confidence of the people of the country by playing its role as opposition in parliament properly.
"JaPa will earn the people's confidence by playing the role of the opposition party in parliament properly," he said.
GM Quader, also the deputy opposition leader in parliament, made the remarks after meeting with Rajshahi city unit JaPa leaders at the party chairman's Banani office.
The Rajshahi city unit JaPa leaders greeted GM Quader with a bouquet, to honour his appointment as deputy opposition leader in parliament.
GM Quader also said JaPa leaders would work to strengthen the party before the next general election. “JaPa has good prospect of becoming a very strong political party in Bangladesh in the days to come.”
He added that many popular and established politicians will join JaPa in the near future. “JaPa will remain strong due to the people’s affection, while many political parties will gradually be eliminated.”
Rajshahi city unit JaPa General Secretary Mostafa Rahman Dalim, and Vice Presidents Lutfur Rahman, Nazrul Islam and Enamul Haque attended the meeting with the party co-chairman.
