BNP has invited Prime Minister and President of Awami League Sheikh Hasina, and her party's presidium members, to its iftar party.
The party will host the iftar party at the Ladies Club on Tuesday.
A three-member BNP delegation, led by its Assistant Office Secretary Taiful Islam Tipu, went to Sheikh Hasina's political office in Dhanmondi with invitation cards, around 4pm Sunday, reports UNB.
Awami League Deputy Office Secretary, Barrister Biplob Barua, received the cards on behalf of his party.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir – on behalf of acting Chairman Tarique Rahman – invited the prime minister and the presidium members.
