GM Quader made the remarks at a press briefing at the Jatiya Party (JaPa) chairman's Banani office on Saturday
Jatiya Party (JaPa) acting chairman GM Quader said his brother HM Ershad’s organs are not working properly.
"Doctors said the JaPa chairman's physical condition remained unchanged and he's still not out of danger. His organs are not properly working," he said.
GM Quader made the remarks at a press briefing at the Jatiya Party (JaPa) chairman's Banani office on Saturday.
He said doctors at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) have long been trying to make his kidney and liver functions normal, but there is no desired improvement in this regard.
Quader said the infection in his brother's body reduced significantly while waste from his blood is being removed through dialysis.
He urged all to pray for speedy recovery of the Jatiya Party chairman.
Ershad, also the leader of the opposition in parliament, was admitted to the CMH on June 26 as his condition deteriorated.
He has been suffering from various old-age complications, including low haemoglobin and liver problem, and high bilirubin and serious knee pain.
