Bombs hurled at house of Obaidul Quader’s sister

At least five crude bombs were hurled at the house of Tahera Begum at Bashurhat in Companiganj of Noakhali, sister of Minister of Road Transport and Bridges and  Member of Parliament Obaidul Quader. 

Companiganj police station’s OC Mir Jahedul Haque said police have been deployed in the area, according to Bangla daily Prothom Alo. 

Jahedul Haque said miscreants hurled the crude bombs at her house on Saturday night while Tahera Begum was watching television with her family members. 

No one was injured as the bombs did not explode, he added.
