State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has said that 40% of electricity will come from renewable sources by 2041.

The strategy was adopted in the country's Power System Master Plan (PSMP), he said while speaking at the Bangladesh-UK Climate Partnership Roundtable on Tuesday in Dhaka, said a press release of the ministry on Wednesday.
