The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka West celebrated its 20th anniversary of active citizenship at Long Beach Suites, Dhaka on Friday.
The event started with the Mime performance from Mir Lokman, founder of Dhaka University Mime Action.
Among dignitaries present were JCI Bangladesh Advisory Council Chairman Senator Waqar Ahmad Choudhury, former president Senator Safina Rahman, former president Senator S Rumi Saifullah, Senator Dr Muzharul Mannan, Senator Chowdhury Mahib Ekram, Syed Fakhruzzaman, Humaira Afreen, and former national president Senator Fayaz Atiqul Islam, former president Ziaul Haque, and JCI Dhaka West President Mehedi Hossain.

JCI is a worldwide membership-based nonprofit organization of young active citizens aged between 18 and 40 years who are dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. Through projects in 5,000 communities across more than 100 countries, members seek targeted solutions to local problems, creating a global impact.
JCI Dhaka West is one of the founding chapters of JCI Bangladesh. JCI Dhaka West was founded in 1998 and has been serving the community since then.
