
REHAB President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin came up with the disclosure while talking to the reporters at Pan Pacific Sonargoan hotel in the city yesterday.
He said: “This year marks an important milestone for the REHAB as it will celebrate its 25th founding anniversary soon with a gala arrangement including rally, discussion meetings, painting and gala dinner.” However, he did not mention anything about the detail schedule of the promgrammes.
REHAB Vice-President Nurunnabi Chawdhury Shaon said: “Around 90% of the city dwellers will be inhabited at flats by 2041 while Dhaka city would be expanded to the East-West and North-South side.”
In response to a query, REHAB President said: “Yes, Electricity is still the biggest problem for the housing sector. However, the government has given more priority in power generation to help build the township.”
Besides, he claimed that Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) is creating troubles for the real estate companies on their smooth journey. He also demanded to bring changes in the activities of ACC by introducing an alternative way.”
He said: “If the government allows undisclosed money to invest in the real estate sector it might be helpful to run our business smoothly.”
