BD-Japan joint venture in petroleum sector introduced
Omera Gas One Limited, a joint venture company between Omera Petroleum Ltd Bangladesh and Saisan Co. Ltd. Japan, was inaugurated officially by Energy and Mineral Resources Division Secretary Nazim Uddin Chowdhury at a city hotel. Ambassador to Japan Masato Watanabe and President & CEO of Saisan Co Ltd Takehiko Kawamoto also attended the programme as special guests and guest of honor respectively, a press release said. The new company will provide a large scale LPG Engineering Solutions through which it will supply bulk LPG to the above sectors. It will also focus on the construction, operation and management of LPG Auto Gas stations for the sale of LPG, the press release added. “The demand for LPG in household complexes, industrial and automotive sectors are soaring. Omera Gas One will meet the demand through  Engineering, Construction of LPG reticulated infrastructure and Auto Gas Stations. We will also Supply Bulk LPG to these users through adopting the best of Japanese quality & safety standards,” said Toshiyuki Shimbori, CEO of Omera Gas One Ltd, at the ceremony. Each Coast Group Chairman Azam J Chowdhury, and CEO of Omera Gas One Ltd Toshiyuki Shimbori and Omera Gas One Ltd Director Tanjil Chowdhury, amon others also attended the ceremony.
