During the fair, a total of 24,921 buyers and visitors pledged to buy some 520 flats worth Tk416 crore while 145 plots worth over Tk72 crore including 14 commercial 14 spaces worth Tk28 crore and bank loan commitment is Tk917 crore, says a REHAB statement issued yesterday.
Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) organised the fair titled ‘Sopneel Abasan Shabuj Desh, Lal Shabujer Bangladesh’ began on December 21.
Presence of the visitors at the fair was good from previous years. The demand for small and medium-sized flats was higher this year.
On Chrismas, different institutions offered discounts on products. Raffle draw’s attractive prizes were also distributed among the winners, said the statement.
