Hedayetullah Al Mamun to become Janata Bank chairman

Former senior secretary Hedayetullah Al Mamun is going to be the chairman of the state-owned Janata Bank Ltd. "The Financial Institutions Division has nominated the former bureaucrat for the post. We have already sent the nomination letter to the Janata Bank," Financial Institutions Division Deputy Secretary M Rizwanul Huda said on Sunday. He said the new assignment for Hedayetullah will be effective once a “no objection certificate” is issued from Bangladesh Bank.
